Nice idea, but I think it would drive me (more) nuts. How many times after you've closed the vise up do you want to make a small adjustment to the height of the job or whatever? A bit too slooooowwww......
However, I REALLY like the way he can detach them altogether to have nothing to run in to.
The wagon vise doesn't offer anything over the really simple (and very effective) HNT Tail Vise, but his idea of pairing them looks interesting.
