Default Aldi Air Compressor sale Sat 18 April

Anyone bought one of these in the past? I notice the 3 year warranty. Are they a good deal?

I have an earlier Aldi air compressor with a 1,200W motor, this one is a new design for Aldi. As far as I can remember all of their previous air compressors were horizontal air tank cylinder types, as mine is.

That said, my Aldi compressor has been pretty good, it goes up to 8 Bar whereas this one is supposedly good for 10 Bar.

If you wish to run air tools for the odd job, it will probably do the job, but if you wish to run air tools for a fair bit, I think you may be wanting more.

Over time my own compressor which did do 8 Bar when brand new, I tested it, now will only do a tad over 7 Bar after changing the oil. I am a light user of air, so mine suits me. Mine is about 5 years old, I think.

Their warranty is for 3 years, just be sure you get a plain paper copy of your tax invoice and file it, along with the original. No matter how much you complain, Aldi will not even think about a claim without proof of purchase.
