Default O Mill vertical drive gear

I have been asked to do something about making new helical drive gears for the vertical head of the O mill. I am not sure if there have been any changes to the specs of this gear anytime during their manufacturing run. With this in mind, I would appreciate any owners who can give me good accurate dimension such as thickness, diameter, bore, toothcount and mounting hole dia and spacing, along with the machine number to identify in what order any changes may have taken place.
I have noticed changes in the size of the fibre gear and shaft gear on the motor drive unit and am reluctant to invest in the project of making the vertical head part in case there are similar variants.
    regards Mal

    Hi Mal,

I'll be back early June if that's not too late. Hopefully I'll have saved enough money to buy a 3 Jaw for my mill as well.

    Cheers Ben.

    Hello Mal,

My mill is a early version with the serial number OL-8. I will remove the head and measure the gear for you in the next day or so.

    Thanks Bob,
That would be great to have one that early as a starting point.

    Thanks Nev,
I'll check it against Bob's when he sends it. Anyone got one with a higher number than Nev's.

OK Nev, you've made me feel sufficiently guilty that I've stopped painting a window frame to pull the gear off the mill for a few measurements.
