    Default noisey GMC thicker

    I have a GMC thicker for several years, looked after it ,not done any heavy work, its squeals on start up and when slowing down.
    Anyone give me any information on stripping down to grease bearings or any other ideas that it might be. thanks John.

    The GMC thicker is now operating. A member of Barwon Valley Woodwrights, Stripped it down to see what the trouble was, bearings replaced, but the quality of manufacture was s&$#, I know I only paid peanuts for it but bearing housings were only plastic, gone hard and cracked.
    Dallas our hard working member deserves a medal for the amount of work he doe's to help other members. john
