    Default First build

Its official. I am now a toy maker and it was favorably received

    Sorry pics a bit blurry

I made this last might after work onsite. There is no lightinging so fonished by torch light.

It was a rush job which infiniahwd just about 6:45

I used recycled bits off the floor and cut some nail gun nails to support the wings.

Nails used to hold the wheels and as back landing gear as well as propeller shaft.

Done with 18 volt makita stuff, jigsaw, sander, drill and my 12" DeWalt drop saw.

Room for improvement but as a first I was pleased.

I joined a new woodworkers guild and rhe project for rhe month was a biplane to be shown last night thusnthe rush. They have 2 sections achievement and novice or something like that. I wasnin the novice and fot 2nd place. Dont tell anyone there was only two entrants lol

Normally it is the other way around that once someone has a go on the lathe they are hooked, personally I would not touch a spinny thing honest gov.

Now you can make lots of toys now that you have completed your first. A good job whats next maybe a train or bike.

    Look forward to more soon
