    I think that 'prior art' will kill his patent if it goes to court - NW Indians have been using this construction for several generations to make boxes, then there are all the 'lip and rebate' drawers in magazines for the last 30 or so years.

    Nothing to stop him trying though, I think one of the aluminium 'moulding heads' that you can get in the US for table saws would be the way to go, no need for a Dado stack, can be made to fit a 'CE' standard saw easily, readily interchangeable carbide blades (basically its a spindle cutter turned 90 degrees).
