Louey woon
I`ve had these planes passed on from my dad and just wondering are they in demand as collectibles ,not that i`m thinking of flogging them off, just curious.
The one that looks the oldest is the louey woon wooden plane , my father is 90 and he said that this one belonged to his grandfather. the other two are a Record No 06 and a Stanley No 4 both belonged to his father.
Cheers in advance

The record and stanley are not particularly collectable but both should clean up ok and be good users.
Louey Woon was a Melbourne furniture maker in the early 1900s He also made planes like yours to sell locally.
The blade in that plane looks like a stanley blade and the wedge looks to be from something else and made to fit.
You can see some other Louey Woon planes here

In regard to the Louey Woon plane, I remember some discussion at a TTTG meeting about planes made by chinese living here in the late 1800s it may have even been in one of the news letters ? Oops Didn't completely read NCArcher's response !?
