Just a bit of a heads up. Be careful of getting too ambitious with your wire sizes if running a standard Mig gun. While 1.6 wire will feed through most mig guns over a couple of hundred odd Amps capacity, they may not like it too much as the gun relies at least to some extent on the shielding gas for cooling.
If you Google Lincoln Innershield, you will find a link to download a guide for all things self shielded flux core.

flux coring
thanks Karl,
ive got got hold of an ln25 and a good power source (350 amp) which will hopefully be coupled to a pro fax or k126 gun.
the smaller wires can go through my 255 Lincoln and the 180 I have.
loving my welding !
hating the price of fluxcore wires though : )
got a co2 regulator for mig but not bottles yet, so I'll stick with fluxcore and get good/better on that.
the profax/k126 will help eliminate that big nozzle on the 255c obstructing the puddle (not an issue with the 180 of course) and get me into some hot territory
hows ss your welding going ?

Excellent, you're well ahead of the game and running a proper Innershield set up.
I can't comment on the Profax gun, but I know that the K126 Lincoln gun is not a cheap item to buy new. The LN 25 wouldn't have been cheap either.
I've never had the need to buy Innershield wire in those types of sizes. What sort of prices are you being quoted per roll? They're probably large rolls too I should imagine.
What power source are you running?

g'day Karl,
been hunting bargains as best i can.
Lincoln v350 pro used, Ln 25 pro unused second hand, just ordered the k126 gun unused second hand : )
there's heaps of the k126 on the market. I recon many are issued but never required.

I have a new roll of this wire that is free to a good home. Please note it is 2mm.
I was given it some time ago and have no use for it.
It has almost gone into the wheelie bin a number of times but that seems such a waste.
I am located in Brisbane so shipping might be a problem but I will happily box it up and deliver to a freight company if someone does have a use for this.
