    Default logitrace jumbo board test

It was quite the experience to set up 2 drawing boards and use the jumbo software to enable to separate tablets to be joined
Is amaing what he hs done and with a cordless pen

John walsh was telling me that he has clients using his jumbo board in the boat business(doing actual size template copying) and counter top specialist (templates to get the perfect fit)
Once you have that template no matter how big it can be easilt traced out to a vector and once you have the file its machine ready for a cut

Next stop, hook up 4x of them and hook up some kind of Mission Impossible rig so that you can reach the middle:

I thought this a good idea then I found the price .

But I did think of another way to do things along the same way wont be as precise but if you take the part stick it on a white and a camera over head you could take a picture then import it into software, use the outline and size etc to create a file to work from.

i would guess there is already software that can do this.

There are many ways to skin this particular cat, most of which have been discussed in woodman12's threads featuring these boards.

Some of the process can be automated by software which autotraces a raster image to vector linework, but generally it needs cleanup before it can be used for CNC. Old tech or new, there is definitely some skill involved.

Default copying or tracing out designs for cnc

There are many methods of tracing out an object or diagram, but some large companies have been asking john walsh
to produce full size hugh boards for there processes and scanners and software copying just does not cut it.
And lets not forget the accuracey
He has been telling me that boat builders are keen on these boards and a company that does marble or slate counter tops also been using these jumbo boards as there layous are drawn full size
I wa hoping throught time he would be able to get into 3D
