Where do they get such wonderful toys...
Jim Bode has a Disston #43 on there right now (unless someone's scooped it up) that I am genuinely tempted to get.

There are or have been a few around. Those in original condition command high prices. Most times the ruler along the back of the saw is no longer visible and almost always the awl is missing. There are a few variations on the design too.
This one had the awl, but no sign of the ruler:

This listing was for the awl by itself!

This is available on Australian Ebay:

Jim Bode often has some really nice saws and you can view them on his site for years as they don't appear to sell. Possibly because they are overpriced.

I think Jim Bode may source some of his stock from John Sindelar, http://www.sindelartoolmuseum.com/. I spent a few hours touring part of John's collection a few years ago - amazing. He also supplies a lot of tools to other dealers, eg Donnelly, Leach, and the collector David Russell. In any case beyond my pocket

Ok, ok... I had to stop and rewind a couple of times there.
Patented "Lightning" tooth pattern looked interesting early on, but I need more information on the saws at the 2.26min mark. They have an embossed plate on the handle. I just know that you all know more about them.

That was the first picture I came across (top of thread) ... I have seen the type a little. $$$ on ebay.
I'm not that fussed on them ... having that 'display' look to them.
I don't know much about them ... but I would bet Wiktor's and/or Ray's site might.

Woops!
I knew I had seen them somewhere before. Now where are those memory pills?

Although, looking again, I do like that plain-plated one at the back RHS.
