First paint! And I just couldn't wait to see if the color was right and it is pretty close. I am still waiting for my small bolts and nuts 1.4mm-8 mm for all the pivot points First paint 001.jpgFirst paint 003.jpgFirst paint 004.jpg

well made a little more progress since last time. I got the air intake and exhaust pipe made and got a good start on the undercarriage which consists of the bottom of the motor oil pan, transmission, and two piece driveshaft and u joints and during all of that i cut a channel to hide the wires for the motor fan, headlights, floodlights, and yellow flashers Copy of DSC02699.JPGCopy of DSC02505.JPG The greenish tanks in the background are where I load my truck i can dump 3 thousand gallons in the truck in about 5 minutes and be back on the road to get this terragator filled up so they can keep spraying they can hold 1700 gallons and takes them about 30 minutes to apply it .for those who haven't seen my truckCopy of 1022.jpg

Well got the undercarriage done and the wheels painted along with the intake and exhaust the motor looks good in gray I Think I will add some red led lights in behind the radiator so the spinning fan blades will be more noticeable Copy of 038.JPGCopy of 039.JPGCopy of Copy of 040.JPG

G'Day Tracker,
While the camera & photos are important [opps, did this photo junkie just say that ] ,
the real deal is the first class wooden toy which you have built ..
A HUGE WELL DONE SIR, the end result is magnificent....
Thank you for all the extra time & effort to do the build notes & photos, they are much appreciated. Cheers, crowie
PS - We can never have too many photos with whatever camera one has, keep them coming!!!Last edited by Big Shed; 13th September 2015 at 06:03 PM.

Final fitting of boom assembly before paint . I got started with painting today I originally planned on spraying it but after looking at all the tight spots I decided to use a brush so it is slow going but its looking good so it is well worth the effort . Copy of DSC02776.JPGCopy of DSC02772.jpg
