Default Battleships, destroyers, cruisers or whatever they are?

    Howdy

When asked by the local Men's Shed, the Pre-school wanted a replacement battleship. Their current one was retired, battle scarred and the worse for wear.

So last week down at the shed I started making one and then another one

    here's a piccy of where I'm at

There's still a bit of work to do to finish them.
    It's been fun so far

Great ships the kids should love them whatever you want to call them they will have their own names.

The hull looks like a Destroyer and the guns from a Cruiser/Battleship

They are a couple of very fine ships you've built Nick.
The kids will love them and sail all around with them.
    Well done. Cheers Peter

    Default finish query

    Thanks for the comments everyone

    They're almost completed

    Now a question:
would you use any finish on them?
I was going to leave them "a la naturale" but I've had a couple of raised eyebrows. I suppose I could apply a couple of coats of wop.
    what do the experts suggest?
    regards
    Nick
