A Present
This box is made from New Zealand Swamp Kauri, abouy 50,000 year old, with a Huon Pine Ribbon and bow. ALL sides are mitred, and the inside surfaces are all polished and waxed before assembly. It is 230mm x 135mm x 60mm

I love those bows.
A few "how I make them" pictures would be very appreciated (by me!)

Great work, no let down
I love that bow, superb carving. The rest of the box is pretty spiffy too.

I thought they were taking the micky out of you with all these comments on the bow till I read your first post which said it was made out of huon.
A closer look at your other picture revealed it was in deed timber and not just any bow.
All in all a great present
