gmc thicknesser DC hood ?
does anyone know how to make a DC hood for the gmc tthicknesser, i think there is instructions on the forum somewhere but i can't seem to find them...

Its not hard to do, I made one from MDF but to be honest it isn't worth the trouble, I would buy the one timbecon sells, it fits well the only problem is its orange, but I suppose that would be OK, in keeping with the new GMC - Triton merger
If you definitely want to make one, just look at the triton woodworkers website... http://www.tritonwoodworkers.org.au/. Its under other jigs or modifications.

what, gmc triton merger, please explain, i was just about to duck down to bunnings and get the thicknesser but will i now be getting old stock.

Stuart Lees posted the way he made a dust connection for the GMC thicknesser on the Triton club's Holmesglen website .
It can be found under Mod 1 of other Mods and Upgrades.
