Sikaflex the internal beads to frame and seal glass side of beads with sika as well before glazing but wait 24hrs before fitting glass then glazing silicon for external beads, won't leak then

I wouldn't be trusting a bead of silicon to seal the glass against the weather.
i agree but im not the boss

    Delay?
I am not sure if your boss excepts it but I think I know why there has been a delay.

On behalf of all concerned, thank you and well done on taking on and looking after the Woodwork Forum stand at the Timber and Working with Wood Show.

    Look forward to the images.

Window in and double drip groove

    From another angle

You may be able to better make out the planted stops and glass bead in this pic

    Or a closer shot

Only the paper running underneath. I always used aluminium roll as a minimum but again I'm only a pleb on this. Did convince a flashing on top though

Top not a problem, its above 45 deg from bottom of fascia. The only hope now is Sika sealant side architraves and apron mold to ext lining & window and around sill horns.
If the cladding matches the existing then you have to flash sides before the cladding and that runs behind the horns and OVER the sill flashing.

I'm a bit worried about your boss's mindset and building practices. Careful your not made the fall guy. Document, photo & diaries everything for your own protection in case anything goes pear shaped. I speak from experience, it worked for me. Only trying to protect your best interests.

A window without flashing is not a window, it's a worry.

Some things are just out of our control Mate. Nice neat job though. Well done!

Sorry I couldn't make the Melbourne Show, and thanks again for your kind offer but Suzie & I had our 25th wedding anniversary. She didn't want to spend it at the show. Women, I'll never understand them .

I'm coming down next year though, so I'll expect to be picked up from the airport then.

    Best regards.

    Pete.

Women. They just dont understand the more important things.

    1/4 of a century ... not a bad effort.

    Airport - I'll be there

For those who have been following you would have read that the window has planted stops and beads. My preference is for a rebate.

Given this is as instructed and not as I woukd do one thing i did do was reduce the size of the planted stops on the centre style. Note back in this pick here

You will pick this detail in a few other pics too. Readon for this is the stops will be concealed due to the architraves on the inside on the outer perimeter but the center style will obviously be exposed. IMHO the illusion of a rebate on the center style is more asthetic than had the stops come flush.

    Now a pic glazed

It has been sealed around the outside and obviously the glass too

Not a brilliant pic from the inside but it gives an idea of the reduced stop.

I dont advocate this is how a window should be made but the principles can help someone build one. As mentioned, there are things I would do different.

In the coming months i maybe working on building an older style double hung window with concealed/cavity screens top and bottom.

That is if I dont get Pete to make them for me

    Nice one!
Don't forget the chisel that's on the sill. You'll need it to make your double hung.
