I am in great need to find a supplier for the return springs on my 355 mm Metal Cut Off Saw. It was bought new in the early 80s and has been a reliable machine. Yesterday When I was using it the springs that lift the blade/disc out of the cut let go. The model number is CC 14.
I searched the web to only be able to half identify the part number as 321-422 but I think that info was for a recent model. (This was also an American site, so freight would not be viable) I did find a few sights in Oz but I think you have to be a "relative" to access availability and cost. They all must have been set up by the same bloke because they were difficult to navigate but none gave what I wanted
Could some one point me in a direction that can satisfy my predicament

I don't know if you have access, I would take them to a spring maker and have them made up

I'd try hitachi Australia first. I've has some good and bad experiences with buying tool spare parts over the WEB. England is fine, One Australian site is dismal. Do a search for the company reviews before ordering.
Searches seem to indicate that spring A (951851) is available but spring B (951852Z) is obsolete. Also there was a spring change in 2 or 3rd month 1997. Later springs, from one source, are available.
