Dump trailer
I started work on a dump trailer today.
Thought i would try a build thread.
It will be made out of cherry. So far all i used is leftovers from prior builds.

Did not get much done this weekend.
Worked on the fenders.
The plans are kind of confusing. They are in french and english.
While i was trying to figure things out i started work on a fire truck.

Got some of the box done today.
Got the cylinder cover done.
Cutting compound miters is a pain.
Trying to glue the angle sides of the box to the bottom took a little figuring.
This is how i did it. If anyone knows a different way i would like to hear it.
I also test fit all the pieces i made before. Looks like everything will work right.

This is the way I've done it, made a jig to hold parts together for the bottom parts and then the upper parts

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Studeag"....
That's on fine looking trailer you've built, PLEASE could start a new thread with a whole stack of photos to show off your handiwork, thank you.
Also please, if this is an example of your craftsmanship, PLEASE show off your other work too, thank you.
This mob of toy makers and model makers here on the forum are a great bunch,
All very helpful and willing assistance as and when they can, so please join in.
Our friend "oneye" is a great toy & model maker and IMHO fits in very well with everyone.
Cheers from the Great Southern Land, crowie
