Spoked Wheel Jigs

Managed to complete a set of wheels I think they turned out Ok. I know the plans for the money box shows 12 spoke but the wife said the 8 looked better and it is not a scale model.

One question how do you keep the hub centered in the wheel?

This Hub and Spoke marking template generator might help marking your jig: http://www.blocklayer.com/hub-spokes.aspx
You can also easily add and remove spokes to see what looks best.
Once you get the template right, just use the Print Diagrams button at the bottom of the page to create a full scale PDF to print the diagrams (100% scale) and use as templates to mark hub and rim (or jig).

Very nice work
would like to make my own jig someday.
One question how do you keep the hub centred in the wheel?

I made a very simple jig with a pin in a piece of wood placed the centre with the spokes onto it and clamped it close to a sanding drum moving the jig a fraction closer each time until this assembly fitted the outer rim. By doing this the spokes are exactly the same length and the centre boss is where you want it
