Hey fletty
The Brough they have is an outfit and not the model we're after.
I'd say we're pretty sure we're going with Terry's Olympia.
But I'll take a couple of shots of the one they have tomorrow when I drop the Indian off.
They've also got a bike there called a Ward it was made in Melbourne around 1916 I think.
It has a J.A.P engine and is a really nice machine.
To top it all off they've got a Dennis Fire Engine.
I've always wonted to build one!.
Gotta say Tassie seems to suit me very well.
Cheers mate
Trev.

So, that makes it...
Brough Superior SS100 Olympia Special
Brough Superior SS80 (Matchless AND JAP?)
Golden Hind (or Vasa?)
Morgan 3 wheeler (just to use the water cooled JAP engine drawing you've already done?)
Stephenson's Rocket
Denis fire engine
......and a Ward 1916?
What will you do NEXT year then?
Yep, I think Tassie is going to suit you VERY well!

Hey Trev,
Remember you were hanging it on me about building a diesel locomotive ????
I think the Dennis Firetruck looks like a bit of a "brick" on wheels. Not much character
Take Care
(Yep - I think you have found your niche in Tassie mate)

That's a bit harsh Keith as the Penrith Museum of Fire has better looking Dennis Fire Engines along with a heap of others.. Peter

If you make it to the GTG at Katoomba late next month Trevor, you may like to make a little time for a visit.... Peter

Good try Keith but no cigar mate!.
If I build a Dennis after the Brough it will look a bit more like this one.
This is a 1920 model but I'd go for the 1914 version which is almost identical by has spoked wheels.
It looks a little more stylish than a "BRICK ON WHEELS" sorry "Diesel Locomotive".
Cheers Mate

Ha- Ha
I like it Trev.
I was actually going to consider buying a CIGAR (for me) for the next time you visit - can't have you drinking and me not smoking with you ???? I will get you a longneck.
Nice looking fire engine. Will you also build the motor ?
Say hello to Tayne for me
Keith
