" Fore"
Its been raining a lot here so to wet to work so I thought that I would make my great niece something for her third birthday, last time she was here I Made a model A truck for her brother and she looked at me and said uncle kevin you didn't make me anything so I promised that I would make her something. What to make for a 3 year old girl ? well i knew that she loves to ride in the golf cart when she is out at the farm. This is what I came up with. Copy of DSC03091.JPGCopy of DSC03095.JPG

The wood is aspin with walnut wheels and some 1/4 in plywood unknown, and as you might of guessed no plans I just went out to the farm and took some measurements and divided them buy ten, it is 10 inches long 4.25 wide 4.25 tall wheels are 1.75 / 1 inch thick. I did a slight recess in the center of the wheels and stuck some chrome tape in there to give a little bling.Project1111.jpg

Really nice job Kev. Up to your usual high quality finish even though it will be an everyday use toy.
What is the finish you used on it?Dallas

I used a gloss lacquer applied with a cheap airbrush the soft aspin soaked in the first two coats then i put another four more heavy coats on it.
