    Have fun one & all......

    Hi All you Pallet/Toy makers/Challengers!

Task: To create a simple toy for a child under 3years of age from a pallet in 15 days.

Rules: All entrants must provide a photo of the pallet and 3 complete photos of the toy. The comp begins on the 1st of December and finishes on the 15th. (we will need a judge). I will supply a prize pack in Jan 2016 to the winner. The toy must have wheels and they must be shop-made.

    How does this sound people?

Wheels are a bummer. Can this requirement be removed?

Evan, There's a new thread in toymaking by Miko were Christos has put up his hand to run the challenge; that's the place to ask the wheels question as Christos has already mentioned something about wheels....crowie

Without wheels someone from the box making section could just put one of their exquisite boxes in, call it a toy and win hands down

Hi Evanism, Little wheels are a piece-of-cake with a hole saw. You will have them in minutes. Cheers, Fred

This isnt my concern, for I make carts with wheels for toystores (below), but I was thinking it was limiting the toy options available to us

I will reply to the other thread per Crowies suggestion

    Yes
Maybe we should get together some rules, I though making the wheels would be a good challenge as it keeps the ideas simple. I always find the more restrictions the more I enjoy the challenge.

Christos is now officially taking over the comp so it will be his call

Hi Evanism, Sorry, I misunderstood your meaning. Thought you hated wheels. Cheers, Fred
