2 x 290x45 How to Join?
I have a brick pier that I want to take out to get more access for trailers and stuff.
Existing at the moment is a 290/x45 beam in F17 hardwood.
Span table says that if I use 2 x 290/45 beam I can take the brick pier out.
Whats the best way of joining the two together.
Nails, Gal nails, how thick and how long, and at what spacing?
Or nut and bolts?, Again what size and how often?
Thanks brains trust.
