Default Carbatec 10" planer/thicknesser combination for sale

OK, the guy I thought wanted my machines as a bundle isn't interested, so taking offers for separate machines.

Carbatec 10" planer/thicknesser combination, light use by previous owner and no use by me

Apart from paint looks identical to the current model:

    https://www.carbatec.com.au/machiner...g-115-53-95-cm

Verified it runs smoothly, rollers operating normally. Tables cleaned and waxed. Blades are sharp-ish, comes with some sort of hand held sharpener which I've never used, came with the machine when I got it.

Comes with a mobile base and magnetic blade setting jigs, see photograph.

Collect from Ocean Grove, I may be able to help deliver to suburbs on the way between here and my brother's place in Fitzroy, but it's really heavy so you will need lifting equipment at your end

Discounts available if you want more than one thing, I'm selling a lot of stuff so PM me.

    G'day DanMM,
Buggar! Where were you last week?
I've just spent $245 on a new gearbox for my bench top thicknesser and $700 buying a 10yo 6" jointer.
    Yep Buggar

    Double bugger.
My thicky literally ate itself last week so I need another one, and could really do with a wider than 6" jointer.
In fact, I was looking at exactly this combo model as an interim machine for when/if/until I can move into a bigger shed for business.
Absolute bargain price, but alas, it's $749 more than I could dig out from under the couch cushions

Not your problem though. I just had to vent my self-disappointment

    Good luck with the sale

Thanks for the kind posts guys, and sympathy about the couch cushions and lack of change, much the same at my place.

    Planer/thicknesser is now sold.
