Router Master
Hi all,
I saw the router master demonstrated at the Perth woodshow, and thought it looked a great unit. I can see a lot of uses for one. Does anyone own or used one, and are they as good, accurate and solid as they look? At around $1500 including freight I cant afford a lemon. I believe wood wizz make something similar, but don't know prices on their unit
Your thoughts and experiences on either machine would be appreciated
Cheers
Wayne

Yep, I have a Routermaster with the 900mm long arm. I needed something to level up several slabs (300cm x 40cm x10cm) of Jarrah that I had chainsawed out of the jungles about 12 years earlier, plus red paperbark, white cedar.
I could have taken all the timber elsewhere to have leveled, but at $35 per squ metre it was nearly up there with the cost of the routermaster and hence dead money for me.
I didn't use the bench/table that came with it. I modified an existing 2m long steel framed bench and mounted it on that.
In the router I used a 50mm 6 cutter planner bit.
It all worked a treat.
