Hi George, I am Rex....
I haven't bought the planer . . . actually when I bought my T2000 in October last year, I thought the only attachment I hadn't bought was the super jaws. . . I'll have to go back to GasWeld and look at it.

May my Woodworking someday aspire to be as good as my Darts, and vice-versa. . . .

Hi George,
I am David. I had the fortune to be given the planer attachment for Christmas. It is great. Just like the saw however it is a bit of a bugger to get set up correctly. A bit of perserverence and patience and you will have a good all purpose planer. It does have some good features - the ability to remain attached and fold away when using the workcentre in saw mode. All in all it is a good package for the price.
Regards,

Rex,
You should buy the Super Jaws. Very Handy.
In speaking with a Triton Rep at Bunnings in Scoresby Vic a couple of days ago he said that the doohickey for raising and lowering the saw in the T2000 is only about a week away.
I hope this is so as it was supposed to be here in February.
