At the moment we are paying US$ 4.50 per gallon for fuel here.
    Its actually A$1.35 per litre.

    How much are you paying?

Maybe you could persuade your yard wetters to go an P*** on Terry's lawn; that'd kill it back a bit eh !

Thats a nice piece but the guy selling it always has a high start price & a lot of his auctions go without a bid.

I don't know how this seller ever racked up over 2000 sales. Every thing they offer is way way over priced!

(Well, everything I want to bid on that is!)

I think that the price is still quite LOW. Yes, that's right, low. Remember, this is a more of a collector's plane, although I use mine quite a bit and love it. On the other hand, I restored mine and it is not a collector quality.

    See: http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...ad.php?t=12351

But I agree with you, at that price I would rather buy the LV LA Jack for daily use (see that thread).

    Regards from Perth

Bob, given the day you have had, I'll forgive the inadvertant thread highjack attempt - I think you replied to the wrong one. Go have a cool one and relax in the shed.

Derek, it may be a "collector" but . . . each to their own, I use all the tools I own to butcher wood! You don't see many 62's anywhere.

As you know, I've got the LV LA JAck. Given enough money, and it would take a bit, I'd still buy it. After all it is a STANLEY N0 62. Way back when you bought yours and I didn't know what one was, it still intrigued me. Now I know, it is soughta the ultimate dream. When I've got nothing else to do with my money, I wanna buy one.
