    Anyone know where I could buy some Boxwood ( for threaded inserts ) and Tagua nuts in AU ? Thanks Phil.

    Hi Brendan, Thanks, I was hopeing to buy a chunk in the round, say 300mmX60 or 70mm. Not quite an offcut.

    Not for any particular job,just thought I'd make some threaded boxes with inserts and HDPE and box are about all I've been able to chase a good thread on.

    My Box was a nubbin of old firmer chisel handle that someone had flogged with a hammer.IMG_20180115_103349330_HDR.jpg Phil

    Hi phil , not too sure boxwood Is readily available in australia,
    I have had some success with wenge and ebony for threads
    I have also just tried some corian which is showing some good
    signs of threading as well !
