Default Delta chisel morticer fence adjustment.14-651

How can i adjust the fence on a Delta chisel morticer? I can move the fence in and out without problems, but there is a 2 to 3 mil runout from the fence to the edge of the base running left to right. The model number is 14-651.Has anyone else experienced this problem? Regards...........AL

The important thing is that the fence is square to the chisel not to the base edge.
I do not think there is any specific adjustment for the fence other than in and out.
If the fence is not square to the chisel, you may be able to get some adjustment by loosening the four screws at the base of the column. Alternatively you may be able to get some adjustment by loosening the screw that attaches the rack to the fence.

Growing old is much better than the alternative!
