Floating Timber Floor "Click Lock"
Hi all,
Can you tell me if this is true: when laying timber floating floors the plastic wedges used on the first few rows should be left in permanently ?Also if beading is used,this should be glued to the floor not nailed to the skirting?A colored sealant should be used between the wall and the beading to allow for movement. Done this way the boards will not separate ??
This was what a person who laid a heap of floors in the UK.
Can anyone tell me if this is right or not?
