Cheap MC900 - type lathe at SuperCHeap
Spotted a lathe in SuperCheap Auto (LakeHave - NSW Central Coast), reduced from $399 to $199.
On a cursory overview, it looked very much like a dark green MC900. Cast iron bed, not flimsy folded stuff.
Might interest someone budget-challenged out there. Not sure if this special is available in other stores.
Cheers,
Andrew

Thanks for the heads-up Andrew.
While the design of MC900 type lathes seems now to be pretty standard, they can be assembled with parts of varying quality, so as always, caveat emptor.Cheers, Ern
