    Default Looking For A Good Woodworker To Fix Stair Rail

    I am looking for a good finish carpenter to finish a stair railing. The railing is part of a iron staircase, and needs to be sanded and stained, to match a bottom part of the staircase. I am in the So Cal area (909), give me a phone number, and I will contact you...Thanks

    Mike, you may want to direct your query to a US based forum. This one is based in Australia, you may find a number of people willing to do it, but they will charge you travel costs , Though that said we do have a couple of US based woodworkers, I see hickory has already offered (His will probably be the cheapest travel costs)

    Good luck in finding a contractor to help you

    I was about to move this to another thread, but after re-reading it, its probably in the right one as by the sounds of it you want a polisher, not a carpenter...But in anycase graham is right, your better off posting this in a US forum, but you never know your luck.
