I turn on the light...
... and what do I see in this room? Quite a few lovely people who I've met on other forums and some more who I'm sure will quickly become good friends .
For those of you who haven't encountered me before, I'm Gill and I'm a menace with either a Diamond AF 24 or a Hegner 2 VS. I've been making sawdust for longer than I care to remember and I'm going to keep making sawdust until the requests for me to stop outnumber the requests for me to continue. So there!

Gill, Welcome and I don't mind looking at your art again....I still am intrigued by the layered "nativity scene"....Still have not had time to try one out...and the talbe just wipes me out...I haven't gotten any further with woodworking than the scrollsaw and a bit with the lathe...What are you working on now girl?
Glad you found us....

Hi Lin
It's good to touch base with you again .
I'm working on an ash clock right now with a segmented dancer motif... or at least I would be if I could remember where I've put my clock inserts  ! Another project I've got on the go is a picture frame that I'm making out of MDF, again with a dancing motif but this time it's relief cut. Anyone would think I like dancing ! Piccies will be posted in due course, so long as nobody minds me showing stuff made from MDF instead of wood.
I'm also applying a simple marquetry panel that I've had hanging around for ages to a box.
What are you up to now?

Gill, Yes do post the pics of your up coming projects...are these gifts for friends/family members, orders or trying something new?
Me...I'm trying to finish up the sanding on a second segmented eagle and have a segmented squirrel to do...Also working on a custom graduation order and a "Titans" Banner for the same guy I did the "Titans" logo for. Plus my son is hollering about the fact that he still is holding an IOU for a Harr Potter and Friends portrait cutting from x-mas...My plate is full at the moment which is a good thing I guess...but need to be working on some of my x-mas gifts for this year now and havn't been able to start even one of them....
