    Default Drill Presses at Bunnings

I thought I posted this message yesterday but it seemed to disappear. Apologies if you are reading it twice.

I Bunnings I saw drill presses by Ryobi and GMC around the $100 mark. This seems to me to be very good value. Does anyone hav experience of using these drills - are they good value or am I missing something ? I wouldn't use it enough to justify a really expensive machine

I have a Ryobi drill press from bunnings. I find its great for the weekend woodworker like me. I got the Ryobi at the time as I got an extra 10mm of depth than the GMC. Dont know if its changed at all.

    Thats my 2 bobs worth.

    Norman,

I recently purchased the Ryobi ($99). I have had no problems with it, although I don't use it that often. My only negative comment is the travel for the chuck - I didn't take this into consideration when I purchased it, so trying to drill some thicker timber gets tricky. Apart from that I have had no issues - I have used it to drill out some mortices for a table I am working on and it worked very well.
