Default Gyprock Plasterboard - What Fasteners??

    Hello Folks,

Building a bulkhead structure around the preimiter of my kitchen reno.

Need to buy some fastners to attach Gyprock 76mm stud track to existing internal brick walls and also through plasterboard into wood ceiling joists (I think that's the term). Could anyone give me some pointers??

    Thanks - DC

For fastening flat material to masonry walls I use ramset nylon head wall anchors. They are light duty but do the job and are quick to put in. You can get 5mm and 6mm sizes with different head shapes. Long bugle head plasterboard screws will fasten well to the wooden ceiling joists.

    Cheers

    Thanks Pulse,

What about afixing the plasterboard to the metal stud track? Same bulge head plasterboard screws?
