Default Where to get MDF from in Sydney?

    Hey all,

I am trying to find out where to pickup some MDF sheeting in Sydney. A few years back I visited a place, possibly in Rozelle??, where they had MDF a good prices but I can't for the life of me remember exactly where. I need some 18mm sheets and some 25mm sheets for some reception desks. If worse comes to worse I will need to do the Bunnies trip for the 18mm sheets but still need some 25mm sheets from somewhere.

Whilst on the issue of suppliers, anyone know where to get laminates from. Both plastic laminates that glue on or iron on, as well as beech or maple laminates.

    Any help would be great

    Johnny.

    hey Johnny

I bought a heap of MDF a while ago from an ad in the trading post from a place at Villawood I think....check out the building materials section in the trading post...from memory it was at least half the price of bunnings although i dont think its the same quality.

you could also try Mister Ply and Wood they have stores all over sydney

North Shore Timber are usually a few dollars a sheet cheaper than Mr. Ply and have a few outlets, plus they deliver if needed.

For specialty laminated stuff, try Brims Panels - very good but expensive, otherwise Mr. Ply stock laminated/melanine and Laminex brand DIY laminate
