some Christmas presents

Just some stuff I've been knocking together. The bank is made from sapelle and uses a recycled mailbox door. It's for the little boy who lives one farm over.

Then I did some picture frames for the Grandmothers. The one on the left is sapelle and the one on the right is tulipwood. Rubbed oil finish on both. The girl in the photo is Kaitlyn at a recent horse show. She's twelve going on twenty-five (said with head buried in hands). [sigh]<HE hands his in buried head with says>

Yes - tomorrow I need to mortice a slot in the top of that bank and install the brass plate. Didn't remember until I saw that photo. Whoops!
