Default Who wants to be rich

Yesterday I recieved a four page letter with a 5 cent piece taped to the top of page one telling me how if I just post $10 to the first name on the list then send the same letter to 30 other people, removing the top name and putting my name at the bottom I will receive in excess of $60,000 WITHIN 30 DAYS
But rather than pick names out of the phone book as suggested I am willing to offer this money making certainty to the forum members first .
I will not however be posting you 5 cents but if you send $10 to the forums favorite charity I will send you a copy ( COD ) of this letter which you can post on and make the promised X amount of dollars
The last name on the list however who I rang is not interested in buying the Sydney Harbour Bridge (though I offered a very good price ) and can be abusive when asked why he posted to me and may be supprised when you can't see a gift horse or a good way to make when its offered , and he assured me its not illegal.

It is. Alright, I was wrong we do need some laws to protect the stupid from their own greed and gullibility.

Last one of those I received, I wrote to each of the addresses on the bottom advising them that sending these letters was illegal, and enclosed a copy of my letter to Consumer Affairs.

The Consumer Affairs Depts in all States try to shut them down, and used to send warning letters as well.

I think if someone is prepared to play with my emotions, well heck, I'll just play back!

    Cheers,

P (and no, my big toe didn't drop off within two days of not sending it on either, AND I spent the five cents!)

I received one of these last year, the letter went in the shredder and the 5 cents in the money jar. All I need now is for another 5 million of these gullible fools to send me 5 cents each and I'll be getting somewhere!!

    Cheers,

    Evan

I'm very interested in buying your bridge, Ashore. Will it remain in Sydney, or can I move it to Brisbane where we need a tourist attraction (since Joh died).

Needless to say, I'm also happy to forward your letter.
