millers falls router
hi there, i am a hobby wood worker and wondered about peoples opinions on the millers falls 1/2" router avaliable online, i realise quality is the issue with these cheap imports & would appreciate the low down on them.

Didn't know Millers Falls were still around, unless the Ayshuns have a cheapy knock off of what used to be a good product.
I had some of the original MF gear and it was good, can't recall who owned it all but think there was an affiliation with Delta/Rockwell.
I am really relying on memory but if it has sprung up again I would be doing some research first (which is why he asked the questions )Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Thanks, they claim to have all the functions, variable speed, micrometer depth setting etc.
Definatly made in china tho, going for under $100 which puts one off, too good 2 b true!?

You might want to be real careful about the voltage, or its blue smoke time. With the 'Millers Falls' brand, it is probably intended for the US market & 110 volt wiring.
