Epoxy for knotholes?
Hi guys, just after some info on what is the most common/popular epoxy used to fill knotholes or cracks etc in hardwood. And how will it go with an oil finish over it?
Cheers

I prefer the clarity and low viscosity of casting resin. You might also try a wood filler (such as 'Timbermate', or another brand), which can match the colour.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

And what do people use to colour the epoxy - eg if you want the Araldite black or dark brown?
