    Default The Rack

A Friend of mine ask me to build this for him. He gave me a web sight to look at & told me that he didn't want it to look like anything there.

    Easy.

So I had to come up with a unique design for something that I had only ever seen pictures of what was not required & I had to get it out of a 32mm thick offcut left over from his mantle. It's all curves & I will be getting my Bandsaw in July.

So All I had to do was come up with a designe & build it, using all M&T joints. Not a problem for most of my fellow forum woodies, did I mention that this was also my first attempt at M&T's.

So, I recon it came out ok, all things taken into consideration... What do you recon.

    Hi,
I received this picture in an email today.

The new owner is very happy & I think the sword looks good in the rack.

The sword is actually Blue, so the pic is a bit dark.

    Hope you like it.

    Good job.

I had a go at touching your pic up and getting some of the blue in it...
