There is a scroll saw association of Australia, but for the world of me.... can't find a website.... will ask around a bit to get some information... they should know about any clubs in your area.
I know Wodonga is a bit far.... but if you're interested... we are having a scroll saw weekend in August..... 2 days of scrolling , eating etc....
more information in the event's forum..... or just e-mail me at

the scrollsaw network doesnt have a website yet, but message me if you want any details about it.
there arent any scrollsaw clubs in sydney that im aware of, there may be a scroll group in one of the larger wood turning/woodwork clubs which is the norm for most scroll clubs.
perhaps you can pay a visit to the sydney wood show and ask some of the clubs there. the closest one to you that i know of is up north in gosford.Brett

We have a scroll saw group within our Woodcraft Co-op....That is Hawkesbury Woodcraft Co-Operative......
We have at least 8 or so active scrollers.....and others who just try their hand.....
The Co-op has a meeting every saturday for different types of woodworking and scrollers day is the first saturday of every month....We also have a general day every tuesday, which I think is mainly attended by the scrollers, as they seem to be all the retired ones
We meet at our clubhouse at East Kurrajong, about 10 minutes up the Putty rd from Windsor.....
The other forms we have members doing are marquetry, pyrography, turning(about half our members are also members of the local woodturners group) triton users group, carving.....pretty much all forms of wood craft/work
We actually have an open day coming up on the 29/9/07 at the clubhouse, so I better put that in the upcoming events, if you want to check us out....
We have about 40 members, but could always do with more...and gladly welcome em...'You can't change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust your sails'

Not wanting to hi-jack this thread, but are there any scrollsaw clubs or groups in South Australia?

Yeah there is quite a good club in Adelaide, run under Woodgroup SA. I will try and find you some details on them. Some great scrollers in the group, they would have had a stand at the working with wood show if you went to that..
