Any thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
    Most powertools have sharp teeth.
    People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.

I used to have one of them to shape the lead flashings to go around the flues on oil heaters. Used to make one to two flashings a day during each winter for about four years during the oil heater boom days.

That was when heating oil was about 25cents a litre.

I don't know what happened to it maybe that one is mine where I left it behind on a job.

    G'day,

I'd say the same as Soundman, a metal dresser.
I make things, I just take a long time.

    Lead Workers Tools

A collection of lead workers tools includes:
2 x bossing mallets with boxwood heads and bamboo handles (some denting to face of the darker mallet),
1 x bossing mallet appears to be made from beech (has dents to striking face),
1 x lead beaters mallet made from beech,
1 x turnpin, appears to be made from boxwood
