    Hi Jim
    Nice work with your Kalimbas.
    I will keep an eye out for windscreen wipers.

    I still make some when someone wants one.
    A friend just returned from Mozambique and brought me this mbira.

    It is perfectly tuned and sounds great.

    I have no idea what they tune them to in Africa but I have always tuned mine in Minor Harmonic scales, it seems people just pick them up pluck a few keys and that scale really strike a chord with them.

    HAHA,sorry.Don't you just hate that? Ok if anyone is still reading this? How do you tune them? to what scale? i'd think the pentatonic.what do others do?
