Woodwork Teaching and Risk Assessment
I am posting this question in this forum because it would seem to be more alive than the deicated Industrial Arts forums and I gather that there a lot of woodwork teachers browsing.
RISK ASSESSMENT documentation is driving me crazy. Would anyone be generous enough to share with me what they may have already worked up for their school. I am particularly interested in documentation that states which year levels can use which tools and the risk assessment associated with general techniques and practices in a standart school workshop.
WOODTECH PROGRAMS - I am the only Industrial Arts teacher at a very small school and I have just managed to introduce Woodwork as an elective course. Is anyone proud enough of their programs to generously share them with a struggling new player?
All advice and resource help would be greatly appreciated.
If I can share anything back I will and I offer this resource on recycled timber cabinetry (with student worksheet) as a token.

Chris,
Can't help with the teaching-related stuff I'm afraid but I just wanted to say thanks for the link to your site. That's exactly what I'm planning to do next year and it's great to see how someone else has gone about it. I particularly liked the metal detector idea - that's a great tip and one I would never have thought of.
Cheers,
