    Default Jacaranda Bowl

Well, here is my latest. I love Christmas, gives me an excuse to make stuff. I love this piece of wood. There is a wavy crossgrain pattern that gives the wood an amazing shimmer, one of my favourate wood grain effects. Dont know how effective I've been with the camera though Once again, any good natured criticism sought. Ubeaut, I fixed the problem at the camera end, hope these pics are okay.

Should point out, above pic is a little deceptive. It's about 25cm wide.

who'd have thought a tree commonly found in gardens could look so nice?

    I like it.

Very nice! I have a Jacaranda in the yard and we had it trimmed a year ago. I kept a quite a few of the large branches which have been drying nicely under the house. You have inspired me to "give them a turn" and see what comes out. If its half as good as yours I'll be very happy
