Emco Star
This is a bit of a trip down memory lane for me, does anybody remember the Emco Star.
I’ve searched the web and found very few references to it. It was a multifunction combination machine comprising a lathe, circular saw, bandsaw disk sander, belt sander and had several other attachments such as a planner/thicknesser and mortising unit.
My father inherited one of these machines in the early 1970's, I spent many an hour trying to seriously injure myself with it (not entirely unsuccessfully) and when my dad was there we produced many fine items using it.
Dad is now in his 80’s and I wanted to refresh his memory about it. any specs or even a photograph would be appreciated.
Exactly what happened to our machine I don’t know.

Hi
I am 32 years and I bought an Emcostar last year - a very good and relatively never used. It is very powerful and easy to work with. I like it a lot and even managed to get its manual from a friend of mine. I live in Malta.
Regards
Joe

here:
