    Default Another doover-based, niki-inspired, "featherboard" for planer

    Knocked up something to help keep a board tight against the sole of the planer when using the Triton attachment. A bit of welding and a couple of rollers. Seems to work well.

    It can be adjusted for height so that the featherboard pressure is centred. That was one of the problems that I had with using a magswitch featherboard. The other was that the magnets of the Magswitch located on one of the aluminium channels and did not hold with enough.

    The thing can also be moved closer or nearer to the planer.
