help to create simple php shopping basket

hi all...

are there any php coders on here...?

if so i could use a little help building a shopping basket for a site, just a basic basket to show what the customer has bought so far, and with a checkout after that, really simple if you understand php...


hope someone can offer some help before i end up in the loony bin !

The easy way is to use a paypal cart and just cut and paste their code.

There are a number of free/open source shopping carts available.
One I've used is Zen. ANother popular one is OS Commerce.

These may be a bit more than you're looking for so try a google for 'php shopping carts free' to see some more.

this was a little tricky, as i needed a product link from the manufactures site to blend in with my clients site and then have a shopping cart only, those like zencart require the seller to host all the products and cart together...

anyway, it took a bit of hunting around and experimenting but here is the result

it just a one page site at the moment but more products are going on soon...click on any of the buy now buttons and feel free pretend to order, but PLEASE, don't place any orders for real if your not a real buyer as the site is live...
