Box Chain
Does any body know if chain like this or the chain and fittings seperately are available in Australia? Brass ball chain is the only thing I have been able to find that has suitable fittings to attach the ends with screws however I dont like the look of it.
Cheers,
Howdya

box chain
ha shed rat, how are ya,
I assume you are talking about chain to hold up the lid,
i went out and raided my mothers, mother in law, and aunty's jewellery box's
and got all the chain they didn't want. then simply solder the first couple of links
or 2-3mm of chain then drill a small hole in it to house a small nail.
It looks very hand made and if you want, cover the ends with the material when you
line the box. there is a lot craft shops that have a variaty of chain to choose from .lifes to short, learn from other peoples mistakes.
