    Hi
    I have been looking at this site and saw one where someone bought the Hammer A3-41in 2004.
    I am looking at buying this also and wondered how the long term usage has been. Also is it more prudent to wait for the wood show and see if they have any deals at the show?

    The A3-41 is a good machine, and from memory is about $8k-$9k.

    The question is, do you need the full 410mm planing capacity? The Hammer A3-31 has a 310mm planing capacity, and is almost half the price. Same brand name, 100mm less capacity across the width.
